The Vineyard


The Canadian Vineyard aims to be a model of the mosaic of diversity that Jesus desires to establish in his church. In spite of Canada's regional diversity, the Vineyard here has been marked by a developing and encouraging unity and teamwork both across geographic areas.


The mission of the Society of Vineyard Scholars is to develop and nurture a community of theological discourse among the scholars, graduate students, seminarians, and all others who like to think theologically in the Vineyard movement.


Originally "Langley Vineyard," this church stands as the first church plant of the Vineyard movement in Canada, and has been going strong since its inception in 1985. Through their various ministries and deeply biblical values, the vision of Friends Langley Vineyard put succinctly is "to see Jesus formed in people."


The Vineyard USA story is about ordinary people who worship and serve an extraordinary God. The Vineyard is simply one thread in the rich tapestry of the historic and global Church of Jesus Christ. But it is a thread of God's weaving.


The Penticton Vineyard aims to, "effectively reach the lost, incorporating them into a strong church, in order to make empowered disciples who minister to others and passionately love Jesus!"


"Loving God, Loving People" is the mission of Abbotsford Vineyard. Currently, they meet at 10:30 every Sunday at MEI Elementary School and have vibrant ministiries not only for adults, but for youth, kids, and young adults.


The Strathcona congregation began in January 2005 by meeting in a friend's living room every other Sunday. After a year they were able to find a larger place in the downtown eastside where they now gather every second week.
